Dana Capone, Special Counsel

DANA CAPONE, Special Counsel, brings to her legal practice an extensive Public Relations background in the areas of Luxury, Fashion, Beauty and Entertainment. Ms. Capone’s legal practice focuses primarily on media, employment and entertainment law. Ms. Capone’s unique combination of communications and legal expertise enables her to counsel her clients on a wide array of matters.

Ms. Capone began her career in public relations in the music industry, serving as PR Director for several record labels as well as launching her own successful music PR firm. Subsequently, Ms. Capone excelled as a Senior External Relations Officer for BVLGARI. During her tenure she was responsible for overseeing communications efforts for a wide array of categories including Jewelry, Watches, Accessories, Beauty and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts

Ms. Capone later maintained a senior level public relations position at BVLGARI while pursuing her law degree at New York Law. Upon graduation she then took on a dual role as the Legal Liaison between BVLGARI and its parent company LVMH. In this capacity she assisted with a range of legal matters including commercial real estate transactions, corporate advisory, and licensing deals.

Ms. Capone has served as a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee since 2013. She is a member of the New York Women’s Bar Association and it’s Federal Practice and Technology and the Internet committees.
Ms. Capone received her JD cum laude from New York Law School, and her BA in Journalism from the University of Arizona. She is admitted to practice in New York.
